Miley Cyrus took home three awards at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards!
The Disney starlet top top honors for ‘Choice Movie: Hissy Fit’ for her song “The Last Song;” ‘Choice Music: Love Song’ for “When I Look at You;” and ‘Choice Celebrity Fashion Line’ for
Miley and Max, her clothing line with Max Azria.
The 2010 awards show was held on Aug. 8 in Los Angeles and was hosted by Katy Perry, as well as Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer from the hit Fox TV show Glee.

Jay Leno is set to guest star on Hannah Montana Forever. In the show, Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana will go on The Tonight Show and speak with Jay Leno. This show within a show really works because it shows that Hannah Montana is still a star in the real world.
Hannah Montana Forever will be the last season of the beloved Hannah Montana series but it doesn’t look like Miley wants to stick with Disney for much longer anyway. Cyrus just came out with her newest album Can’t Be Tamed, which is geared towards a much older audience than Hannah was.
Either way, Miley or Hannah, she is a talented girl and I look forward to seeing what more is in store with her.

Miley Cyrus is currently filming her new movie “LOL: Laughing Out Loud” with actress Demi Moore. The duo will be playing mother and daughter in the remake of a 2008 French comedy.
In the movie, Lola (played by Miley), goes after her ex-boyfriend’s best friend after their messy breakup. Her mother, Anne (played by Demi), has trouble after her divorce. Anne tries to restart her life as a single mother while keeping communication open with her daughter.
This new version will actually be written and directed by Lisa Azuelos, who actually wrote and directed the original movie. And like everything, the movie will have a touch of Twilight as the vampire star Ashley Greene joins the cast. The movie is set to release sometime in 2011.
After the successful release of her newest album, Can’t Be Tamed, I know I’m not the only one excited to see her newest project.

In the days before Miley Cyrus’ new album, Can’t Be Tamed, is set to drop, the megastar is working hard to shed her teenage Disney skin to fully embrace being a solo star with some young woman sex appeal.
Critics of her newest release accuse Cyrus of being too provocative, but she’s fighting back and sticking to her guns defending her right to grow up. In a recent interview, she stated, “I’m not trying to be slutty…. What I’m trying to do is to make a point with my record and look consistent, in the way my records sounds and the way I dress.”
Her penchant for shorts and hot pants, and the sexier new persona, have raised eyebrows, but Miley’s mission is to mature freely, and to dress in whatever way she feels most comfortable.

Getting Miley Cyrus tickets now means for her movies, and not her concerts.
In recent media interviews, Miley Cyrus informed her adoring fans she is taking a break, stepping back from making music, and instead would be concentrating on making films for a while.
“I have a record coming out in June and that’s going to be the last thing I do in music for a while,” Cyrus said, according to MTV.com. “I just want to do films ‘cause I like being someone else. My music is kind of like my diary. I’ll always do that … I just feel like the music industry isn’t as positive as I’d like it do be.”
Cyrus went on to express her disillusionment and disappointment with the business, especially with the direction, or lack thereof, country music is taking. “Unless you’re wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots and singing and whining about your girlfriend or boyfriend leaving you it’s not going to sell.”
Miley latest movie, “The Last Song” based on the book by Nicholas Sparks, opens in theaters March 31. In the meantime, she’s appearing as a guest mentor on this week’s “American Idol”. Her other film involvements include a cameo appearance as herself in this May’s release of “Sex in the City 2,” and the lead role in the film adaptation of Aprilynne Pike’s novel, “Wings,” due out in 2011.

Since announcing the end of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus has remained busy by organizing an online auction to raise money for the Haitian relief effort.
Cyrus is donating various items, including her 2010 Grammy Awards dress by Herve Leger. Other stars that will be donating include Britney Spears, Hugh Jackman, Ellen DeGeneres, Julianne Moore, Whoopi Goldberg and Demi Lovato.
Spears listed her 2008 MTV Video Music Awards dress; Jackman listed a visit to his latest film set; and Lovato listed two items from her wardrobe.
Currently, the lowest priced item for bid is a 99 cent Joel Madden Black DCMA Collective T-Shirt and the highest priced item for bid is Spears’ dress at $1,825.00.
The eBay auction will run until Feb. 18 and all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross. Check out all the items and bid here.

A Disney rep recently announced that the upcoming fourth season of Hannah Montana, a wildly popular show among children and teens, will be its last.
The show, which draws about 5 million viewers a week, focuses on Miley Cyrus, who plays a normal highschooler who secretly moonlights as a pop star. The production for the last season is scheduled to begin on Jan. 18 and wrap up in the summer, though the shows will continue to play for a full year. Cyrus is also starring in a movie called “The Last Song” (how appropriate) and will be taking a short break sometime in April to promote the movie.
A Disney rep said Cyrus has been “been wrestling with [the decision] for months — whether it’s time to make a decision to continue being Hannah Montana or just be a regular, ordinary girl.”

The man who was accused of stalking Miley Cyrus and telling police that the two were engaged had the stalking charge against him dropped yesterday.
Prosecutors dropped the charge for Mark McLeod in exchange for McLeod pleading guilty to resisting police officers.
The “avid fan” has been ordered to stay away from Cyrus and her family, and get a mental evaluation.

Over the weekend, Miley Cyrus made quite a wave when she quit her Twitter account and rapped about it on YouTube.
“No it wasn’t because my friend told me to/ Ya’ll know very well what you say I don’t do/ And the reasons are simple, I started tweeting about pimples/ I stopped living for moments and started living for people,” Miley rapped.
One rumor is that Miley’s boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, wanted her to get rid of the Twitter account. Hemsworth, an Australian actor, is probably most known for his role as Miley’s boyfriend.
